The Childeric DSG dressage saddle is from the same family of saddles as the ever-popular DAC and DGP models, all developed around Childeric Sellier's innovative new-generation flatter tree. Combining exceptional rider comfort with close-contact performance, the DSG is a popular choice for riders seeking greater support through the seat without compromising freedom of movement.
Designed with small, padded short flaps, the DSG offers outstanding communication between horse and rider while maintaining the close contact feel for which Childeric saddles are renowned. Its deeper and wider seat provides increased support across the seat bones, making it particularly well suited to riders with a wider pelvis or those who prefer a secure, upright riding position. The supportive seat design helps promote balance and stability.
A defining feature of the Childeric DSG is its unique panel design. The broader panels offer increased surface area and weight distribution, making the saddle particularly suitable for wider horses, warmbloods and horses with a broader back profile. As with all Childeric saddles, the DSG is fully bespoke, allowing panel configurations to be tailored to suit horses of varying shapes, including narrower types.
